$BTC Statistical Study using Claude - A Beginner's Workflow Here's an example of a z-score study on $BTC - still tinkering so don't take this as overtly useful information but the creation of a dashboard for the visualization of statistical data is phenomenal. my current workflow: > import $BTC time data - .csv file (can get this information from multiple venues - Binance is where I got mine) > creating bins - if you have a larger data set - you can use recent data to prevent overt bias in the long direction or filter consolidation and trending regime data into separate bins for statistical analysis - however, you will have to define thresholds and determine what that entails. > defining metrics in Claude that you want to use for statistical analysis e.g. for z-score what is it based on and what type of calculation? make sure you understand the calculations being performed for any metrics that you are doing a study for and modify them accordingly. > prompting Claude to do a statistical analysis with specific instructions and then tell it to create visualization for this. I've been messing around with this and I'm seriously impressed by the output.

Which one is our priority for securing a digital future for Zimbabwe? The Honourable Speaker's position while providing a clear, logical, and data-informed counter-argument we appreciate his efforts and submission. Let us have a conversation on our priorities in the current Zimbabwean context which we presented yesterday: This is a critical national conversation on our digital future. The proposition of a Google data centre is undoubtedly appealing. Building a centre of Technological Excellence that houses multiple Tech companies and a Start-up Ecosystem is also prudent, though we are calling it a Technology Park. However, I was of the following view which I am willing to be criticised and guided on. The strategic prioritisation of a national ICT Park ecosystem currently is the foundational path to sustainable, sovereign growth and capacity for Zimbabwe. We are reaching out to every province through the Digital Centres, Innovation Hubs at Universities and Colleges. Infrastructure which we need to capacitate better. This is a decentralised system utilising and expanding the infrastructure we have. The central question is not if we want major players like Google; that is not questionable, but when, how and on what terms. Why are we building our own foundation, house, techno park and mini ICT Parks in the provinces and districts? We absolutely need at least a one hyperscale data centre, but centralisation in the current and future environment can be restrictive. This was our plan: 1.The Foundation Before the Skyscraper: Capacity and Traffic We need to increase our national data volumes and internet traffic . Our urgent priority should be upgrading our national backbone, specifically the Optical Fibre on Power Transmission Lines (e.g., Powertel's network from Insukamini to Johannesburg), to peer efficiently with global giants. This builds the foundational "digital highway" we manage. 2.Generating Traffic Through Digitalization A data centre is a response to demand, not a creator of it. We must first drive digitalization aggressively through digital payments, process automation, and e-governance to generate the significant local traffic that would make a data centre viable. Furthermore, we must incorporate Edge Computing strategies to process data closer to the source, a more efficient model for our current needs and in compliance to our Cyber and Data Protection Act which we can amend if need be. Being a regional internet and cybersecurity hub is crucial as the Speaker alluded to me mentioning it to SADC Parliamentary Forum, this is the ultimate goal. 3.PPPs are key to lessen the burden to the fiscus and we are ready to accommodate organisations willing to assist government.(Cont)

Second Valuation At the Council’s public meeting on 3 March 2025 (“March Council Meeting”), the Mayor stated in regard to the Property that: “The thing that disappoints me … but it is that it is another example where we have paid towards the top of the range of what we could have paid. You know, I think, we have heard today that potentially HOBEC [Holland Beckett Lawyers] pulled out of it cos it wasn’t economic to do a development and, its, again we have underestimated the asbestos costs of removing a building. Potentially we have underestimated the geotech issues we are going to have with the site. We have been through this with 90 Devonport Road where we sold an asset for a similar value and had to reduce it to make it work. Yet we have decided to pay the $10,000,000.00 and I am sure we are not going to get back from the vendors the extra to make this work financially. So, I get we bought this as a strategic asset, but we need to look at our processes more. We need to do our due diligence properly and we need to start paying market values for properties not above and I know we have one valuation that justifies this cost but the other one doesn’t back that up. I think that going forward that value for money piece is that we need to get a bit smarter with some of these transactions that we do”. The Council’s December 2022 Agenda states that: “…5. The properties are earmarked for commercial/mixed use redevelopment in Priority One’s CBD blueprint, which forms part of Council’s City Centre Action and Investment Plan. 6. With this property becoming available, staff have identified several facets of the Strategic Acquisition Fund which does not enable it to be used efficiently for acquisitions of this nature. Staff will review this policy, to enable it to be used more strategically and flexibly, while still retaining appropriate checks and balances.” Visual Barriers for Carparks By way of summary, Council staff and Councillors stated at the March Council Meeting that $10 million of public funds were used to purchase the Property; where existing retail and offices were demolished which resulted in lost rental and rates and increased debt. That 100 “visible carparks” were established based on “anecdotal demand” (on the fringe of the CBD) after a more central carpark around the Central Precinct Development was closed by the Council around the same time. In addition, the Council is losing money on the carpark. A Councillor asked: “ … was it of a mindset that the Commissioners did this without evidence or did the staff actually present them with the evidence, and did they override it?” A Council staff member responded, that while he was not employed by the Council at that time, he understood that: “Yes, Elizabeth Street [existing carpark close to the Property] always has plenty of … or pretty much always has plenty of capacity. However, there is and we have done some work and currently doing some work to remove that visual barrier of a going to use a parking building” LGOIMA Request I request the following information: 1)The second valuation for the Property; 2) An unredacted copy of the Telfer Valuation dated December 2022; 3)The financial loss for the carpark broken down into calendar months since the carpark opened in September 2024; 4)All information concerning the “anecdotal demand” to develop a carpark on the Property; 5)The previous work that the Council undertook concerning removing a visual barrier for carparking buildings; 6)The cost of the work noted at point 5; 7)The current work that the Council is undertaking concerning the removal of visual barriers for carparking buildings; 8) The cost of the work noted at point 7; 9) All information concerning the “geotech issues” for the Property; and 10) All information about the Council review of the Strategic Acquisition Fund following the meeting in December 2022. This video is a new demo of NotebookLM that I shared earlier this month at the AI + Education Symposium with MeshEd, XQ, and Betaworks. This is an educational use-case, but the general structure of what I’m doing in the demo—take a curated collection of sources and quickly transform them into a detailed document that obeys strict guidelines—is generally applicable to many fields. Note how I am not just using the sources as ground truth for the project, or as the content for the lesson plan. The Jacobs quotes and interview are the content, but my handwritten notes provide the structure, and the framework source provides the values or guidelines for the finished project. With some simple prompting, NotebookLM and Gemini can draw on information from the sources using those different modes simultaneously: content, format, values. (I even forgot to explicitly tell the model to use the structure outlined in my notes, but it figured that out anyway.) This is remarkably sophisticated knowledge work. Building a draft lesson plan like this would normally take hours if not days. But crucially I’m in control of the document that is being generated here — it’s based on the information that I have curated, and on the instructions I’ve given NotebookLM for adapting that information into the lesson plan I want to create. Co-intelligence, as @ethanmollick would call it.
