haha I definitely gave her feedback as well, I’m a founder of a tech company and I live with her so would be pretty weird for me to not… but I’m not smart enough to know about revenue cat reducing app sales commission (how does it do that?) so can’t claim that one

It’s essentially a by-pass for the native Apple payment system so it avoids having to pay commission on every transaction within the app. App Store takes 15-30%, revenuecat is a flat fee. Apple generally find ways to frown upon it and give founders who run with RC a hard time.

Ahh got it! Pretty sure she’s just using normal Apple subscriptions managed through revenue cat because she applied for the small business program that gets her to 15% rather than 30%. Don’t think she’s bold enough to circumvent unless Replit recommended it 😂

Yeahh there’s an export function she’s working on that was going to be a download but GDrive makes more sense. Will pass on the feedback! She’s also working on a “print a book” export but that’s going to take longer I think

You need to add in an option to print/download your messages. I’m not sure I’ll be using the App Store in 18 years - let me buy a book download of all my messages - or send me a flash drive of my data
