I first found her when we started filming, but then she disappeared because I had to go to work and many places. It was still unstable. I usually only understood her when she was with Bambi. But when I went back for more read-through and filming, I started to understand her character more when she was with other people. I was like, "Phew! She's finally here." Because if I have to play her character without really knowing who she is, it would just be acting, memorizing scripts, and delivering lines. When she feels sad and has to cry, it would be hard if I don't know who she really is. I wouldn't be invested in her story or understand why she has to cry at all.

I can't believe I missed this, but the tension from the CBS interview is definitely still there. Harry is incredibly frustrated when Meghan interrupted and spoke before he did. You can see a bit of his defeat and get a sense of, 'of course, she has to go first.' And she in turn is surprised and seemingly frustrated when he spoke. Their body placements are also interesting. She's standing in front of him, so he can't see her when she's about to speak and vise versa, which means that they would inevitably speak over and interrupt each other because they aren't positioned as equals. Naturally, when you're next to someone, you may be able to see when they're about to speak. She's leading the show and he's there as window dressing, and in her world should remain silent until told to speak. (Also, I added the music as I found it frustrating this video had ZERO audio. Not even music. It's also, obviously, in slow motion.)

We all have no doubt about his sincerity. But Xihe is still wary of his intentions, and these so-called "flirty lines" only make her uncomfortable. Grand gestures and over-the-top expressions of affection aren't what she's after. What actually wins her over, as you'll see in the preview, is when he stops expecting reciprocation and truly offers an alliance in her favour. From the other previews, he also puts in considerable effort to win over her father's heart. Looking forward to that. Though this drama's weird scheduling means we won't get Ep 20 until the weekend.
