Mysterio's illusion sequence was straight up psychological horror, especially when Spider-Man was forced to watch a zombiefied Iron Man crawl out of the grave to exploit Peter's lingering guilt.

everytime i replay Spider-Man i never get tired of collecting all the backpacks again it's a neat way to give insight to Peter's time as Spider-Man before the game

Iron Man's original post-credits scene mentioned Spider-Man and the X-Men 🚨 Nick Fury was supposed to say "radioactive bug bites" and "assorted mutants" when recruiting Tony. Marvel cut it due to rights issues - Sony owned Spider-Man, Fox owned X-Men.

SPIDER-MAN 2 (2004) in the hospital hallway is vintage Sam Raimi. Flickering lights, a moving stretcher, screaming surgeons and Doctor Octopus lurking just out of sight. This is straight-up horror.

This was The Moment all Hulk fans were waiting for. Was Spider-Man about to take Hulk out with Shockers Gauntlet? Was Spider-Man stronger than The Incredible Hulk? Nah, Hulk is Hulk. Strongest There Is. I was more than pleased with how Hulk was treated in this movie and the rest of the flick was pretty decent too. Spider-Man Brand New Day [2026]

Matt Damon says Spider-Man had a parade of excellent actors until Tom Holland came along and it went to shit Tom: “Why are you taking so long to answer this, man? Are you thinking of Ben in that Superman costume?” Matt: “I’d have to say Spider-Man. That was the one as a kid. I used to dress up as Spider-Man all the time. I was just too old when the first one came around and Tobey did it” “There’s been a parade of excellent actors in that role, and then you took it and it went to shit again”
