Abyss is such awesome boss in Marvel vs Capcom 2. Though favorite, hard to choose, because Onslaught, Abyss, Galactus, Ultron Sigma, Ultron Omega are all awesome bosses. For a MVC4, I would choose God Emperor Doom as the new Final Boss or some new original big boss.

His first form always reminded me of the Giant Knight that appeared in episode 50 of the anime Princess Knight. It also let out a poisonous mist. Really hard to point out the inspirations with absolute certainty though. Wish Capcom discussed Abyss in detail.
