Water is one of the biggest concerns surrounding large AI data centers. Lake Wales sits over an aquifer that already supports families, agriculture, and future growth. These facilities require enormous amounts of cooling water, and once they expand, demand only grows. Florida must protect our natural resources and ensure growth never comes at the expense of our communities.

Real diplomacy is rooted in local communities. Deputy Chief of Mission Aaron Snipe recently visited Ishigaki and Miyako to meet with local residents, hear their perspectives, and experience the rich culture of Okinawa's southern islands. Our commitment to these islands is long-term. U.S. Embassy Tokyo is working to expand community college exchanges, English learning programs, and sister city partnerships to strengthen the enduring ties between our communities and ensure they continue to thrive for generations to come.

Communities deserve protection against hate. The Combatting Hate Act protects religious freedom and increases penalties for hate-motivated crimes targeting victims based on their identity. We must do more to protect our communities—this Act is part of the path ahead. 🇨🇦

History does not mean a fable- it is a truthful record of the past. If we want to move forward as a Culture and as a Nation, we must first acknowledge the brutality of the past and then explore how our civilizational identity can be reclaimed through due process of law. The present communities have nothing to do with the invaders or their legacy of brutality. #Gyanvapi is an opportunity for the Nation to come together to right one among innumerable historic wrongs and ensure that the brutalities and injustices of our past have no place in our Future. -Sg #HinduTemples Dr. Vikram Sampath, FRHistS
