Myth: The left and right have gotten more extreme. Truth: The left has barely moved. The right has moved far, far rightward.

@Marjori62371172 Kasich was considered too far right for Republicans in 2000, so they went with Bush. Now Kasich is called a RINO for not being far enough to the right. The shift is real.

🤔I agree. At 60 years old now( I was born in 1963 right before Dr. King's March on Washington), my political views haven't changed all that much, but I am sort of a leftist now because the Republican Party has become so extreme.
