Nabokov ‘detested’ Freud because he viewed him as ‘crude’ and ‘medieval.’

Although he was an incredible writer with a genius for language/s, this is hilarious coming from a pretty sh*tty human being... even worse, he despised Dostoyevsky, so I trust his opinion even less.

LOL. If only Freud were "medieval." Alas, he was thoroughly modern. Nabokov's right to detest Freud, but not because "medieval" (Personally, I detest those who use "medieval" as an epithet). And Nabokov also detested Dostoevsky...so his judgment is not the best.😁
