Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL): "[The bill] requires immediately taking a struggling baby to a hospital. That hospital could be hours away and could be detrimental to the life of that baby."

So he’s suggesting that an attempt to get medical care for an infant who survives abortion could be “detrimental to the life” of the baby… who survived an attempted abortion. Can these people even hear what they are saying???

Shorter Democrats: We can't kill babies if you take them to the hospital.

GOP should call this outrageous bluff. Offer an amendment.

When politicians are defending leaving a helpless baby to die, we have gone backwards as a civilization.

Comical to see these Dem politicians ludicrously trying to justify denying medical care to a child born alive after an unsuccessful abortion. They've somehow managed to talk themselves into being the party of infanticide. Time to hit the pause button and ask: How did we get here?

#WTF is this MORON trying to say?

"The most dangerous place to take an ailing baby is to the hospital." "I am very smart."

These people are depraved.
