Products seized included antibiotics, anti-diabetics, anti-hypertensives, psychoactive substances, antimalarials, aphrodisiacs, unregistered vaccines and banned drugs such as tramadol (above 100 mg) and codeine. Unwholesome food, cosmetics, and chemicals were also confiscated.

$More than ten military and private trucks have been successfully loaded from Onitsha to the NAFDAC warehouse today. Although NAFDAC officers and security forces have only completed a fraction of the operation, significant progress is being made. Earlier today, 20th December 2025, our joint enforcement team conducted an operation across Ikotun Main Market, Igando Market, and other roadside markets along the Ikotun–Igando Road. The exercise involved dislodging recalcitrant traders who had encroached on road setbacks and walkways, and addressing improper waste disposal and other nuisance activities in violation of Lagos State sanitation laws. In continuation of the agency's clean up enforcement operation to rid the State of criminal elements, the Lagos State Environmental Taskforce set out at about 0020hrs on 10th January, 2026, and embarked on its ongoing clean up enforcement operation on the Mainland area of the State. The team observed the entire road, along Akowonjo by Cele busstop has been converted to beer parlor, drug peddling at different level taking place and presence of criminal elements. During the clean up operation, the team ensured the entire area was completely cleared of violation of the State environmental laws and ward off criminal activities. All chairs and tables and other items spread all over the road, preventing free flow of traffic were all seized. During the operation, 56 suspects were arrested and will be arraigned in court as soon as possible. #ZeroToleranceLagos
