The irony is that America dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing hundreds of thousands of people, yet Islam is still blamed for the actions of extremists.

The film covered the 1st atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. The Enola Gay was the B29 bomber that carried that bomb, Little Boy. The Bockscar was the B29 bomber that dropped Fat Man on Nagasaki. Also, something else shown incorrectly is that the bomb exploded almost 2000 ft. above the ground. Both bombs, Little Boy over Hiroshima and Fat Man over Nagasaki, were designed to detonate between 1500 ft and 2000 ft to maximize destruction, as opposed to exploding from a ground strike like conventional bombs. I truly hate that those bombs were dropped. I still cry seeing video and aftermath. However, my father was in the army. He was a chief airplane mechanic. With the war wrapped up in Europe, more than likely he would have been sent into the Pacific theatre. Yes, I know the Pacific was largely a Navy/Marine heavy area. But conservative estimates by the "experts" predicted that without those bombs bringing the Japanese to their knees quickly to end the war, there could have been one million more American casualties (killed and wounded combined). It's possible that many boomers might not have even been born. That includes me.

Had we launched an attack on Japan…estimated casualties were 500,000 to a million Americans. And that’s not counting Japanese casualties. Theses bombs saved lives…and potentially the world.

Why do so many videos of the atomic bombings produced overseas depict the events differently from reality—as if the bombs were just slightly larger than usual? In reality, within 0.3 seconds of the explosion, an area with a radius of 3 km was instantly incinerated.
