Honestly, Sonic 2's emerald minigame is a downgrade from Sonic 1's. In my personal opinion. Sonic 1 was just completely beautiful! They can't even seem to replicate it in modern day! I've only seen a handful of pixel art games do water effects as brilliantly as Sonic 1's!

Megaman Battle Network 1, 2, 3 vs. 4, 5, 6. I never understood why the graphic downgrade on the next three games.
