That’s not completely true. Morris Brown College was started and owned by Black Americans (AME Church).

Most HBCU were started by the AME church and are still affiliated with the church.

I know for a fact that Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) was created AND run by a Black man, Booker T Washington.

There’s at least one black billionaire in America. Why aren’t any of the black colleges own by black people ? They get tremendous government funding. It sounds like a good investment to me.

False.. Lincoln put the a budget for the Freedmen's Bureau under the military spending budget so the Democrats could not take away the money being used to help build black colleges and universities. The sons of the comfederacy did not build black colleges.
