giselle thinking about changing her stage name to aeri is honestly something i’ve seen coming. for me, both names are beautiful and carry a part of who she is, but there’s something special about how she always seems to love being called by her real name. i grew up being taught that our name is something to be proud of, a piece of our identity we carry with us no matter where we go. but at the same time, i can’t help but admire her courage and how she’s growing into a stage name that also feels true to the person she’s becoming, like freedom and self-discovery? i think both names can coexist in her story, each one a reflection of the light she brings into the world ♡

URGENT APPEAL This is Njeri Mugure She is 28 years and was born deaf. Her mother locked her away about 10 years ago due to her disability. She sometimes is even chained on the seat and never allowed to go outside. Due to the deplorable conditions, and malnutrition, lack of sun and she often left in her own excrement. Her bones are brittle andis unable to walk unsupported. Her language is now guttural sounds, whereas neighbours say that she used to be vocal. Njeri has not been cleaned in a long time and our ED Njeri and the house mum have been cleaning her but due to the formation of scales on her skin. She also has oral thrush and other issues. Having rescued her , we took her to hospital and reported the matter to Kihara Police, we are doing P3s today for the arrest of the mother due to gross negligence. We need your help for her care for the next three months. Njeri needs a caregiver as she is unable to hold her urine or excrement. We need diapers and gloves. We don't know if that part is really true, but it is difficult to believe or understand since she has been living for years after the injury she sustained jumping from the 5th story of the government center. It is difficult to think about, but she is likely taking her last breaths as I type this. Still praying for a miracle, but unfortunately, we are at the scheduled time. They planned to start the process 39 minutes ago, meaning she is already potentially in an induced coma, as the toxins that are designed to stop her from breathing begin to be administered. She is full of worms and has been throwing up bits of wood, plastic, and material that she has been eating - poor girl was just trying to survive. She is still being monitored, but I know she is feeling all the love we have for her already and will fight ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 Thank you so much to everyone for helping us save her. Guys will see this kind of thing and think it’s instruction, but they don’t read the fine print: 1️⃣ This girl is married yet still posting thirst traps online 2️⃣ She is clearly ADVERTISING herself for someone; someone who is NOT the husband (the husband already has her!) 3️⃣ Further, she is bragging about what she is able to get her husband to do and how easy she has it (i.e., he is way more invested in her than she is in him) Many men assume that, “The easier and more comfortable I make life for my woman, the more indebted to me she’ll be for all that comfort and ease, the more grateful she’ll be for how spoiled rotten I’ve made her, and the less motivation she’ll have than ever to look for other guys!” This assumption is based on one very WRONG misunderstanding of women, however: That what women really want is ‘stuff’. Material comforts. ‘Nice things’. It is easy for men to get this misunderstanding, because women will constantly tell you they DO want ‘stuff’. Just like how children will tell you they want stuff: • “I want this present!” • “Will you buy me that gift?” • “A new version of that came out! Can we get it?” But if you spoil a child rotten, that does not make the child ‘forever grateful’ to you. Likewise, spoiling a woman rotten does not make her forever grateful either. The harsh reality is a woman’s loyalty has NOTHING to do with how much or how little you spend on her. You can spend on her if you want to and if it makes you feel good. But you should treat it like charity; it is like giving alms to the poor. That is, it is not an action you should expect anything back from. You can spoil her rotten but still have her posting thirst traps online, showing herself off and advertising for other men.
