This is a 1989 clip of the Queen answering children with no script at all and the Queen just seems so honest and kind. Palace too big? Long corridors especially if you’re late. Crown heavy? Yes. You wouldn’t want to walk about in it. “Heavy is the head that wears the crown” Like the job? A busy life. Interesting. You meet people. She was real with them. She treated them with respect. You can tell she was answering honestly. That was who she was personable, and far easier to talk to than people ever expected.
