I’m still going through all my pictures from this year’s Trooping, BUT there was something rather odd I noticed during this year that I haven’t seen in previous years. You can see the cops walking in parallel to JUST the Waleses carriage. I haven’t seen that before. Is there a security issue they’re dealing with? I don’t know, but this happened going and coming back from Trooping and only for their carriage.

The USA will now establish a new military base at Mestersvig in Eastern Greenland. Very few people on earth have been there so here a few photos from when I was there two years ago. It is a wonderful place and it breaks my heart that it will be an American base but that is a treaty right that they have had since 1951.

We confirmed earlier today from the Pima County Sheriff's Department that a traffic stop was conducted last night in connection to the Nancy Guthrie case in the Catalina Foothills and that someone was questioned, but no arrests have been made. I shot this video with my cell phone. We saw the FBI, Pima County deputies, and Marana Police on scene, investigating this Range Rover. This was all happening right by the neighborhood where the search warrant was being served, also in connection to the Guthrie case.

With a heavy heart I am sharing I lost my baba last week. It was hard to come back home and not find him home. Being the first kid of my generation, I was loved by everyone in the family but my baba loved me the most. We shared a special bond. It’s unfortunate that I could not make it for his last rituals and something that I’ll regret forever but such is life 😞 He was a very jolly person, kids’ favourite and loved and respected by everyone in the town. He was 90+ and lived a good, fulfilling life. Humanity and kindness were deep rooted in him. May he rest in peace up there. Here’s a video of him from four years ago and just shows it was a treat to be around him.

So two Brits do their best to relocate to Australia and set up a new life for themselves and due to a company closing + Visa issues they have to return to the UK People make out it’s easy to just up sticks and leave but I’m telling you from experience it’s really not unless you have a skill that’s in high demand or get married etc “Never in my life did I think I would post this. But here it is: I am leaving Australia. My chosen home. The place that shaped me. The place I thought I would grow old in. It still feels unreal. But sometimes life turns around and has different plans for us. What happened: my partner and I were on a sponsor visa and about to get our permanent residency in March 2026. A few months ago we got the news that his company was sold. At the same time, his occupation was removed from the visa list, which meant there was no real way for us to apply for another visa. There were other options to get PR, but after four years of working hard and spending a lot of money, we both didn’t feel ready to start another process. So we decided to take it as a sign and leave Australia. But the closer the day comes, the sadder I feel. To leave my home, my apartment, my people and the life I built here. For some it’s just a country, but for me it’s the life I created that I now have to say goodbye to. And honestly it’s breaking my heart 💔 #australia #permanentrresidency #movingabroad #expat #expatlife”

Back at my mom’s house I was sitting in the living room playing video games in my my underwear, I was around 12 years old and ever body was working until about 5pm so I still had a few hours before anybody was there. I usually kept the doors locked but the front door wasn’t locked, I just didn’t know that yet. I walked into the kitchen to grab a snack and a drink. I didn’t know that a family of three people just walked into the house. I came back holding a bag of chips and a drink and I saw two people standing there and another one just sitting on the couch like they were supposed to be there. My 12 year old brain couldn’t comprehend what was happening and I ran out of the house and to the neighbors house. I finally calmed down and told her what was happening, she grabbed her husband and went over there, I’m surprised they didn’t call the police first. The people in the house told the neighbor that they were friends of my dad and they were visiting from Pittsburgh. My neighbor called my dad at the restaurant and confirmed he knew them. He ended up leaving the restaurant and coming back early. His friends confused what days he was off from work and decided to come by and visit unannounced. He also told them it wasn’t a good idea to just walk in and that even though they were friends they should always knock on the door. I had never met these people before so I thought it was some kind of home invasion, it scared me. But from that point on I always made sure the doors were locked and that I was dressed decently just in case of unexpected visitors.

I’m less than 100 followers away from 10,000. That number might be arbitrary to some people… but to me, it’s not. Almost three years ago when I started this journey on X, I wrote “10,000” on a Post-It note and stuck it where I could see it every day. It was a goal. A milestone. A promise to myself. I’ve never used bots. Never joined engagement groups. Never done follow-for-follow. Never manipulated the system. For nearly three years, what you’ve gotten is just me, my creativity, my thoughts, my ideas, my humor, my critiques, my communities, my Spaces, my encouragement when I see you show up on the timeline. X is not an easy platform to grow on. In fact, I think it’s one of the hardest. Building something authentic here takes time, resilience, and thick skin. There have been ups and downs. There have been moments of doubt. Even these last 100 followers have felt like a climb. But I’m still pushing. Because I know I can get there. That Post-It note had other goals on it too. One of them was earning a living here. That hasn’t happened yet. But I still believe it’s possible. I just don’t know when. Through it all, I’ve stayed positive. Even when I’ve offered critiques, they’ve come from a place of love for this platform and belief in what it can become. I’m thankful for Elon. I’m thankful for the X team. But most of all, I’m thankful for you. My followers. My subscribers. My audience. My friends. When I’m lonely. When I’m tired. When I just need connection. I know I can open this app… and you’re there. Tonight, as I’m laying in bed thinking about how close this milestone is, I just feel gratitude. Thank you for walking this road with me. This woman was going out and decided to pull into a dark road on the side of the highway that doesn’t get much traffic. She pulls her car over and gets sets up a camera and gets out so that she could do a “fit check” to make sure her outfit looks nice. There was a man who was walking away from her, as soon as she turned her back, he turned around and started walking towards her. She should have been more aware of what was happening around her. I think the man was hoping she would stick around longer, that’s why he turned back around. Wouldn’t you pick a more busy place to do something like this instead of a remote road away from traffic. In college sometimes I was working some odd jobs to make ends meet so I didn’t have to take out a loan. That meant sometimes I was walking back to the apartment at night, most of the time it was busy and there were people still walking around in the middle of the night, getting food or trying to make it home. It was a colder night than usual, the fall goat was warning me that winter was coming. Colder nights meant less people out and about. On the way home I was going to swing by the corner store to grab something to eat so I wouldn’t have to cook. As I was walking out I saw that there were a group of people at the corner, just hanging out and having a smoke, it was dark and I couldn’t see how many there was. I turned around and went back into the store. I let the clerk know and he looked out to see what was going on and he saw them too. He said to be careful because sometimes gang members like to hang out by that corner. I couldn’t call the police because they technically weren’t doing anything but I wasn’t about to find out either. I ended up waiting until they left about 15 minutes later.c then I proceeded to walk home, but not without looking behind me to make sure I wasn’t being followed.

The crash of Jakob Söderqvist that definitively decided the battle for the bronze medal. This is what bronze medallist Paul Seixas said after the race: “Söderqvist was very solid, he fell. It’s not something we appreciate even if it suits me. I have this slight bitterness at the thought that I finished 3rd because a guy fell and we don’t know what could have happened.” And this is what Jakob said: “I’m fully OK. It’s just some lost skin… and also a bit of lost ego, maybe. It’s just a bummer that there wasn’t much of a gap to a medal. You know that maybe this crash is what took it away. “But I knew I had to take every shot to have a chance to compete with the best guys, and so then I took a bit more risk than I usually do today. Rumor has it I’m still swimming… 😂 Lol, but hey, I’m about to get real for a second. There have been many moments recently where I’ve felt like the currents have been too tough to swim through… All I wanted to do was throw in the towel and come up for air. But it’s in moments like this where I remind myself that I CAN swim… and I’m actually a damn strong swimmer at that! I may have to hold my breath for a little longer, or paddle a bit harder, but I always make it to the other side. So this is your reminder to just keep swimming. If I can do it, so can you. Whatever it is, you’ve got this ❤️ #mentalhealth
