For me it was important to just step back. I’m very happy I did that. Candace is upset Charlie’s former head of security won’t respond to her messages, and she frequently does garbage like this—she’ll marvel at why so and so won’t respond to her messages or agree to speak to her. She doesn’t like it when she’s ignored or not given attention or taken seriously. She’ll attempt to manipulate her audience with the line of, “why wouldn’t they want to clear their name if they’re truly innocent?”—or something similar. But she neglects to acknowledge that people close to this case (and also the general public) are intimate with the fact that she’s a bad actor. She’s not presenting information in good faith, and talking to her or answering her questions to try to “clear your name” will not lead to any good. She doesn’t actually care about who she destroys in this faux investigation. If someone in an unofficial capacity were suggesting I had something to do with a murder, I’d just laugh, because it’s absurd. I wouldn’t desperately try to clear my name because I don’t have to, and it’s a waste of time. Candace, moreover, isn’t an investigator. She’s not part of this case in any capacity. And contrary to what she might fancy herself, she’s not the arbiter of who’s guilty and who’s suspicious and who’s not. No one is under any obligation to directly talk to her or respond to her requests for comment—and no one with any intelligence would.

I love you Sage Steele, but I am team “keep my shoes on”… I never ask people to take their shoes off when they enter my home. I never take my shoes off in my own home, and I avoid going to the homes of people who require me to take mine off. I have zero interest in seeing anyone’s feet, or making people feel uncomfortable when they come to my house. If I’m not wearing regular shoes at home, I’m wearing slippers. You will never catch me barefoot in my home or anyone else’s. The floor is for walking. Germs don’t matter. I’d also like to know if there’s a scientific study that shows if people who don’t wear shoes in their home are significantly healthier than people like me. I don’t think there’s a notable difference. IMHO it’s comfort over cleanliness every time. Matt Walsh drives me crazy so you know I’m being legit about this topic. 💀
