#WATCH | Addressing the Budget session, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta says, "This year, we have put 70.3% for revenue expenditure and 29.7% for capital expenditure (in the budget). We are also going to do more capital expenditure than last year. For the year 2025-2026, the tax and GSDP ratio was 4.95%. And for the year 2026-2027, this percentage is expected to be 5.09%, which is better than last year. With this, Delhi's revenue surplus is going to be Rs 9,092 crore this year." Another Chinese company reported big numbers from humanoid sales. UBTECH released its 2025 annual results this week. Revenue from full-size embodied AI robots surged to ~$119 million, a 23X increase compared to the previous year. The company delivered 1,079 units during the year at an average revenue of roughly $110,000 per unit. UBTECH also reported reaching an annualized production capacity of 6,000 humanoid robots by the end of 2025.

The improvement of the revenue collection capacity of the Somali Region since the reform is one good indicator of improved governance and accountability. This fiscal year, 2024/2025 (2017 Ethiopian Calendar), the region planned to collect 17.6b Birr, but managed to collect 18.5b Birr, or 104.6% of the plan. This accounts for about 45% of the total regional budget, a significant increase from the revenue share of the regional budget in 2018, which was 15%. With the increased economic activities in the region as the result of peace, and enhanced taxation capacity, the plan for the 2025/2026 year (2018 Eth Calendar) will be to aim for around 30b, thus increasing the share of revenue to 47% of the total budget.
