I'm an engineer. I bet they use X-band radio transmissions. There are even amateurs here on earth that have been able to monitor signals sent from Mars

I have been following the landing of the rovers for years. It is authentic. Wrong: it is not footage. It is many images together-should be from Curiosity rover. US are not the only ones there. Below all those that were there and are still there. China has a rover currently there
