I understand the need of Umpire’s Call and it exists rightfully, but: The umpire gave it not out because he thought there was an inside edge, not because he didn’t think it would hit the stumps. This is a loophole in this system because if the umpire gives it not out, based on the fact that it has been edged rather than to go on to hit the stumps, then if he is proved wrong, they should take his on field decision regarding the ball trajectory. Umpire’s call is a necessary precaution, but it still robbed Pakistan of a wicket here.
