National Anthem of India

The national anthem is called राष्ट्रगान (Rastryagaan). जन गण मन (Jana Gana Mana) is the national anthem of India. It was written by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore in 1911 🇮🇳🕉️🙏🙏🙏 Thou art the ruler of the minds of all people, Dispenser of India’s destiny. Thy name rouses the hearts of Punjab, Shindhu, Gujarat and Maratha, Of the Dravida and Orissa and Bangla; It echoes in the hills of the Vindhyas and Himalayas, mingles in the music of Yamuna and Ganges and is chanted by the waves of the Indian Ocean. They pray for thy blessings and sing thy praise. The saving of all people waits in thy hand, Thou dispenser of India’s destiny. victory forever.

This why the north east people do not feel included and have been left behind by India for Centuries and most of the North East Tribes were forced to join the Indian Subcontinent.

~Haryana was part of Punjab ~Erstwhile Bihar (incl Jharkhand) was part of Bengal ~Himachal covers entire J&K, H.P and Uttarakhand ~ Yamuna and Ganga covers the plains of Uttar Pradesh Sadly Rajasthan and NE areas were not covered

What about the north eastern state??? We need to update our National anthem

Clearly we need a new one. Atleast all territories should be dealt with similarly, either named or not.

Meanwhile Northeast and Rajasthan be like 😬😬😅😅

Since Rajput states held autonomy in 1911 when this was composed that’s why Rajasthan is not mentioned.

I respect india but the fact is we don't have any national anethm that song is not for india that song is for "adhinayaka".The areas and landforms mentioned in song is not regional patriotism . It says people's(slaves) from this region praise and pray for adinayaka(king George)

It was written in 1911 befor Bengal and Bihar partition .so,Bengal include Bihar, jharkhand,odisha,WB,and Bangladesh all.

It is sad that the North- Eastern states of India not mentioned in the National Anthem

Even Rabindranath did not consider Kashmir as part of India.

Dravida doesn't represent entire south india

Jammu and Kashmir is disputed territory and belongs to Kashmiris free kashmir

Rajasthan and Northeast Area needs to be added

There is no mention of North East India in the national anthem. May be that's why the entire north east remained neglected.
