Burlington, Vermont: Federal Judge Geoffrey Crawford ordered the release on bail this morning of Johana Patin Patin, an Ecuadorian national who entered the U.S. illegally and is therefore an illegal alien. A group of protesters gathered outside the federal courthouse in celebration as she "walked free." NBC's coverage omitted the key detail that the release was granted on bond and she still has a court case pending. In his ruling, Judge Crawford cited "extraordinary circumstances," noting that Patin Patin is a mother and has no prior criminal convictions on record. Who freaking cares? She is here illegally, and the penalty is deportation.

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas says that even if a judge has issued final orders of deportation for an illegal immigrant, he does not believe that is enough to require deportation of that individual. Mayorkas openly stating that he was not going to enforce deportations ordered by immigration judges. This man should be in prison. Mayorkas also said we had too many illegals to deport. He then let in approximately another ten million. And people want Kristi Noem to resign for trying to enforce the law and carry out orders for deportations issued by judges? What a backwards society.
