This is a good initiative. To those condemning the act, read this petition I wrote to KMA.

Ghana can work under this style of leadership 🙌

Can’t they lash the driver?

The bullsh#T these troski mates does is really disheartening…. How do you charge 10 cedis for a place that ordinarily is suppose to be 3 cedis… they should added slaps to the warning

Their refusal to charge a reasonable amount to reflect the current realities will prompt the government to bring in more busses. Then they'll begin to accuse the government of coming to spoil their jobs. I wonder what we're made of.

U don't need a task force for this. Economics can fix this, put more buses on the road with the same or subsidised fare & crush the GPRTU. Crush them Totally so they relocated to the villages. That's the only way. This enforcement this is much ado about nothing, not sustainable.

The Government of Ghana is now dictating prices to private businesses and we’re all pretending this is normal? No outrage. No resistance. Just silence.

Greedy Ghanaians. Well done, Taskforce!

Nice work tax force. Continue with the good work and also follow up on Accra Tudu to Kasoa and from Circle to Kasoa after 3pm

This thing broo if I start dey talk then I vex. Lapaz, Pokausa, Amasaman, dome, Achimota, etc the car loading all these places at circle they raise the prices to an extent you wonder if these places are in another region. It's really sad

Ah has Ghana turn to military rule anaa what kind of intimidating be dis

The ayalolo busses nu, them go eat anaa, deploy those busses at the reasonable price, this trotro drivers will adjust

Please come to Accra mall lorry station, those people are thieves. roundabout to 18 junction is 5¢ but would take 7¢.

This can solve anything. Government must do the needful. In fact all the previous Governments has failed us. No rail system. People sit in cars for hours. For instance from Accra to Wa. A country without Train, yet we brag we are Gate to Africa.

@grok yo l am curious, in this situation can the driver decide to abort the trip?

This useless government has deployed thugs to go harsss innocent drivers!!! They can't provide simple solutions to the problem. Kalabuley and patapa government!!!

Every Crisis is an opportunity to do something different. If Gov't doesn't see it then they are blind. Deploy the buses, have a dedicated lane for the buses to reduce the travel & watch the GPRTU model collapse. That's what needs to happen else living in Accra will be unbearable.

Deploy more government buses unto our roads and all this nonsense will stop

Typical Ghanaian attitude. Those national security guys should go to the ministry of transport and deal with the minister for dereliction of duty

I don’t understand ghanaians . We blame the government for the appreciation of the cedi but don’t see the effects in prices and their trying to enforce some greedy Ghanaians who extort its own citizens and people are still saying you can’t force price on private businesses smh

The driver should just drop the passengers there and move his car away to curtain all this nonsense.

We understand why JJ Rawlings whipped them business men and women. Ghanaians have forgotten so soon. You cannot do this nonsense in China in the name of free market. Free wo tiri so

All these buses have been abandoned and citizens are struggling for transport and drivers are also using that to their advantage by charging outrageous prices Ghanaians are not Angry enough to hold government accountable

people are just so wicked. why will you be increasing fares anyhow when fuel prices are low and the dollar also dropping? evil citizens all over smh

These means there high demand , all government needs to do is capitalize on these demand , derma eye go clear … metro buses everywhere making transportation very cheap.

This all no dey need make da government service the ayalolo buses and bring am out we go see trotro’s wey go survive

The government must intervene because supply can't meet current demands. These greedy drivers can't put the whole nation to a stand still when it comes to transportation. Flood the country wid buses .trotro will still wrk!

That’s my Cadet commander, he’s very principle 🔥

the best reponse is a goverment chaired transport system this Greed has to stop

Drivers I beg pack ur cars na u Dey own them not the government.

I voted for this , Nkrumah and Rawlings were unpopular for wanting the right thing to be done and being firm. When you’ve been in the west severally years you know Ghana is a joke cos we hate those who enforce the very laws that will protect our future.

@PillsLaw25 They should come to Madina please

Oh thank you so much national security….so darn happy’!!’
