Navy SEALs training is next level. 🔥 In BUD/S Phase 2, they practice "drown-proofing": floating face-down underwater for hours with hands and feet bound. Building unbreakable survival skills and mental toughness. Instructors push them to the absolute limit in cold water, testing their ability to stay calm, conserve energy,...

Am I crazy for thinking if we had service members teaching classes on critical thinking our youth may have a fighting chance? Send them from k-5 with 1 teacher a year that is a special forces member to teach them young and make the more mentally prepared for life.

This isn't BUD's footage. Drown proofing is in P1, dive comp, which is harder, is in P2.

Knew a few of the seals. Though 1 I watch enter the program was tough. Training afterwards daily was just as intense. After his first couple missions he was never the same. He became very distant and shut down. Luckily his wife was able to help him through it.

@carsonkrow Did this stuff like this in the Boy Scouts over 35 years ago. They didn’t tie our hands together. But told us to swim with our hands together, and were told to not let go. All the dads were there to supervise, and help in the exercise. And it was fun.

Too many people are terrified of the truth. I am talking about those who are obsessed with Israel. Nothing scares them and threatens them more than truth. Understand this so you stop wasting your energy on those who refuse to listen. For many of them, the truth isn’t just uncomfortable. It would shatter them. That’s why they fight so hard to stay blind. Stop expecting them to see. Stop arguing. Stop hoping. Remember antisemitism is a symptom. It’s not the cause. So for the woke right crowd and woke left progressives, being right matters more than the truth. Admitting they were wrong about something feels like an existential threat to their ego, to their identity, to their reputation, to their credibility. They don’t have maturity, intelligence, courage and mental capacity to admit their mistakes. You can wake up someone who is asleep. You cannot wake up someone who is only pretending to be asleep. And most of the time, their denial is not even in their conscious level. When you confront them with the truth, their brain kicks into defense mode. It twists reality, rewrites history, ignores evidence. Anything to protect the fragile ego. It becomes like survival to them. Their brain subconsciously tries to keep them alive. The kindest and most effective thing you can do is this: Ignore them completely. Isolate them. Act like they don’t exist. Don’t hate them. Hate still gives them energy. Don’t engage. Don’t feed them attention. Just walk away and pour your energy into people and things that can actually grow and learn.

What are you teaching your children? Are you teaching them to be weak, or to be independent? One of the greatest things a father can give his children is the confidence that they are not helpless. Teach your kids survival skills. Teach them because a child who knows how to solve problems becomes an adult who is much harder to break. Teach them how to build a fire without pushing a button. How to find and purify water. How to use a knife, an axe, a saw, and basic hand tools. Show them how to read a map, use a compass, identify landmarks, and find their way home when the phone has no signal. Teach them how to make a shelter, tie useful knots, cook over a fire, recognize dangerous weather, stop bleeding, clean a wound, and stay calm when something goes wrong. Let them learn where food actually comes from. Take them hunting or fishing. Let them help butcher an animal, clean a fish, plant a garden, gather eggs, mend a fence, stack firewood, and fix something instead of throwing it away. And don't just teach physical survival. Teach them to think before they panic. Teach them that discomfort is not an emergency. Teach them to keep working when they're tired, cold, frustrated, or afraid. Most importantly, teach them where their strength ultimately comes from. A father should prepare his children for hardship while teaching them not to worship preparedness itself. Supplies disappear. Plans fail. Strong men get injured. Storms come that nobody predicted. Our security is ultimately in God. So pray with your children in ordinary times, and teach them that prayer doesn't replace action, it prepares the heart for it. We trust God, and then we get to work. Make it an adventure. Camp together. Start fires in the backyard. Give them age appropriate tools. Let them make mistakes while you're close enough to guide them. The goal is that when that day comes, they remember what dad taught them, keep their head, protect the people around them, trust God, and know what to do. The goal is that when that day comes, they remember what Dad taught them, keep their head, protect the people around them, trust God, and know what to do. What will you teach your children?

As I drove towards the auditorium in the South Western Command of the Indian Army, I saw posters of army officers and jawans at regular intervals, that won various bravery awards. Some laid down their lives for our country while others came back with scars from the battlefield. These men were husbands, sons, brothers & fathers. They are part of our armed forces and they gave up their today for our tomorrow ! We will never know them. Most of us will never hear of them, think of them or miss them. We might mention their sacrifice in a conversation & admire their bravery for a moment before we get on with our lives. This sad reality hit hard as I struggled to bring a smile on my face when I reached the event for Army Women’s Welfare Association ( AWWA) At the event I met the women that would miss these men everyday & every moment of their lives. I met their kids and I saw their smiles. There were no complaints & no tears ! Just pride, strength & sacrifice. There was so much bravery in that auditorium it humbled me beyond words. It was truly my honour to share the stage with these Veer Naris & their families🙏 I went with a small contribution to say thank you for your service & for your sacrifice. I wanted them to know they are not forgotten & we are indebted to them forever. I left with a smile on my face & with so much gratitude in my heart. I know our country is in safe hands as long as Hero’s like these guard our borders. I did my part & I sincerely hope each one of you can do yours by finding a way to say thank you to the families of our defence forces 🙏 Jai Hind 🇮🇳❤️ Army Women's Welfare Association Punjab Kings OPSINDOOR | AWWA | VeerNari | Ting!
