When filming #SoulsonFire we interviewed Ian Keya. He was among those shot outside parliament on the 25th of June, 2024. In the first video he talks about what happened that afternoon. In the second , he is doing something that he never thought he would do; walk again. While he was on the ground, an officer, John Kaboi, came up to him and said “ You should die”. Ian wants him to know that not only is he alive today, but everything that was taken from him by those bullets, he is intent on getting back. Watch the full story here:
