Scrap play in tourney… 1-8 each conference qualify, division winners are 1-2, 6-8 based on conf. record. Teams that don’t make playoffs get draft order…17th 1st pick, 16th 2nd pick and so on and so forth. Thus removing tanking. Your product is unwatchable with bad teams….

My husband said air @NBA back on TNT. The program time was way off & went off by 8 pm eastern. What happen to hours of Sat night broadcasting for ALLSTAR. 3 pt was on the program first. Should have been Shooting Stars, 3pt & dunk contest… in that order!!

For all non playoff teams, Draft order is decided by total points scored. Non playoff off team with most points scored get first pick. And it continues until you reach the playoff teams. Make teams try.

A lot of the suggestion lead to different ways to tank, the answer is fundamentally changing the thought process and reward winning vs punishing tanking, something like inverting and flattening the odds like team 14 now has the highest chance at 1-4 then team 13 and so on, the teams are still ranked 1-14 by record so lowest team 1 can pick is 5 but the odds rewards winning, and if you think the current inverted odds would favor teams 11-14 to strongly you could invert and flatten. That way if a team is like 7th there would be rewarded more by trying to get to 10th rather than let's say 4th the incentive to try to get a top 4 pick would actually be winning more
