All she had to was get out and report the driver to Uber. They would've refunded her. The driver had no way to give her a refund because they don't give drivers that ability in the app. This was just drawn out drama

This is craziness! No conflict resolution skills whatsoever. As an uber driver, you have to make sure that your car can accommodate your passengers. The lady ordered Uber Comfort which provides riders with newer vehicles that offer extra legroom and highly rated drivers and allows riders to customize their ride preferences such as temperature and conversation level. If the driver isn’t able or willing to provide everything that comes with the option, she shouldn’t have accepted the trip, but to crash out and assault your passenger, over an AC complaint, is wild!
