This video of Ife Salako abusing Professor Wole Soyinka was just shared with me. It is sad and unfortunate that Ife Salako’s daily vitriol and toxicity was reserved for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Toyin Abraham, Seyi Law, Brymo, Ogbeni Dipo, JJ Omojuwa, Joke Silva, Doyin Okupe, Professor Wole Soyinka, Pastor Adeboye, Pastor Poju, Governor Sanwo Olu, and so on. He had no single criticisms or abuse for Peter Obi, Kenneth Okonkwo, Valentine Ozigbo, or Cubana Chief Priest from 2022-2025. Again, the PATTERN of ethnic and tribal politics played by Peter Obi’s supporters was as clear as daylight. This was aggressively supported by Yoruba Buts. For those who have read the Biography of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, you will clearly understand this behaviour and why Ife Salako, Akin Tollgate, Benjamin Kuti known as Oluomo of Derby (not sure of his real name) and others joined hands to destroy Yoruba people, yet point fingers at and make accusation of tribal sentiments against others. I am putting this out for posterity and for younger people to learn. Ife Salako and his friends will forever live with the shame of trying to destroy Professor Wole Soyinka, an accomplished Yoruba and African Hero. A Yoruba proverb loosely translated says “if you sell your father’s house for N1M you will never be able to buy it back for N1B.” Don’t be the next Ife Salako that will be used as a bad example in textbooks for the next 100 years in Yorubaland. Criticise governments. Promote good governance. Don’t abuse revered leaders. Ire o.
