Over 30 years later (1993) and the entire film holds up better than any of the several sequels. Great story, casting, photography, effects ^ scoring. The T-Rex sequence with the kids in the car is a master class. The anthemic theme that compliments the dino reveal here, sublime.

it still looks amazing because we don't see it up close. It was always at a distance or obscured just enough to sell it. Anything that could be an animatronic, was.

The incredible opening shot from Dead End (1937) blends miniature effects, forced perspective and clever editing — and nearly 90 years later, it still looks fantastic.

2Pac – “Life Goes On” (1996). Nearly 30 years later, still one of the realest ever. Still hits the same?
