Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon- 605 - 562 BC

I toured the Babylon city in Iraq back in 2003. Guide informed me the actual city was buried underground and newer cities were built on top of each other over time. Things I saw 1) first wine cellar 2) very first asphalt road. 3) a map designating original garden of Eden located at the south of Iraq and 4) throne where Alexander the Great passed away. The throne was a replica but it’s in that vicinity. I took pictures of ancient lion statue with a human figure on bottom which was mentioned in book of bible. So many history.

AI is safer traveling to the past than a time machine! So grateful, it is, "more moving than any imaging" I could have had!

Beautiful but sad how many entire worlds and the people who inhabited them have just been lost to time
