1 Samuel 28:7–8 (KJV) "Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. And Saul disguised himself,

I know that in Necromancy the true spirit of the person isn't called up. It's a demonic spirit posing as the true spirit that gets called up. Was that spirit really Samuel's spirit?

It was cuz everything he said came to pass

@MrPharm_ It wasn’t Samuel’s. It was a familiar spirit. Spirits know prophecies also that is why they try to stop certain things in other to derail some prophecies.. And necromancy wasn’t practiced in the bible it was mentioned to let u know there’s more to life than physical.

@MrPharm_ Bible said it was the spirit of Samuel and the spirit didn't lie in his revelation

@BrokehommieDee @MrPharm_ Go and read your bible bro. Do it thoroughly

@alreadysaved1 @BrokehommieDee @MrPharm_ Leave them. How is that even possible to commande someone's spirit, who's in the hands of the creator to appear 😂😂. They think God is their mate You have "seer" and "familiar spirit" in the same phrase and you want to fit a holy prophet, judge, priest, and kingmaker?

@alreadysaved1 @BrokehommieDee @MrPharm_ I'm surprised bro

Interesting story and this is why David prayed and begged God that he should not take away his Holy Spirit from him. because he saw what happened to King Saul when the Holy Spirit left him.

Exactly

Na inside movie she see am ooooo Title: "The House Of David"

Stop now. Use your bible biko

I Dey like bible story eh see as I open ear Dey hear me wey like gist 😅😅

It’s demonic and I knew she’d bring this up. The fact it was listed in the Bible doesn’t mean it was approved or it’s right.

@YoungGener11134 Use your Google bro

I remember this story vividly back in the day when I was trying to read the Bible through the year (though I was never successful)🤣

You try. I enjoyed it

❤️

I don’t believe the bible, it’s all stories.

K

Perhaps necromancy is a SACRED act that was called witchcraft to make way for their enslavement religion just how they call herbal treatment witch craft, they’ve distorted the truth about spiritual communicating, interesting how that’s witch craft but an angry jealousy God isn’t?

It still doesn't mean it was an acceptable practice,the fact that it used to happen doesn't mean God was pleased with it ,is the girl dumb or what?

She just trying to explain something that still happens in today's world

God wey like war, that’s not my God. God wey know everything but still choose to punish his creations for things he wrote for them, that’s not my God.

Let’s all agree the Amalekites were sinners. God was angry because Saul spared King Agag and kept the best of the Amalekites’ livestock. Yet this same God later sent His only Son to die for the sins of the world. How do you reconcile these two accounts? Help me make sense of it

Spot on ..

Where did you get this story?

Study your Bible

Based on the biblical text alone, the strongest conclusion is that Saul did encounter Samuel but not because the woman had the power to summon the dead. The passage consistently calls the figure Samuel, the witch is shocked by what she sees and the prophecy is fulfilled exactly. This points to an extraordinary act of God's judgment, not an endorsement of necromancy. Saul's sin was consulting a medium in the first place, which Scripture later condemns (1 Samuel 28:1 Chronicles 10:13-14).

This has been a practice in the Yoruba spiritual beliefs from medieval era. I don’t know if they still practice it till date

Great storytelling skill ❤️🙏🏽

Hmm

I remember the event like it happened yesterday,You won’t believe me but I was there.

Even the Bible didn’t tell the story this beautifully. Thoroughly engaging. Didn’t even want the story to end.

So who told us how Saul and his armor bearer committed the supposed suicide?

Lmao 😂 it's there in the bible

@itsYomi Madam Saul I hope you have your PVC?

Excellent delivery. I wish this competence is deployed to telling Africa's story.
