Necron 99 (Wizards, 1977)

#necron99 departure sequence looks as he was departing form the Tower of Barad-dûr in the land of shadow. It is aways a pleasure to see any part of this film. Questions for Mr. Bakshi: 1) Does the name "Necron" have any deeper significanc? Is it an acronym, or a specific reference? 2) Same for "99," or was it #necron99 was just the next iteration of the assassins, aka he was the 99 unit produced? Bravo to all good sir.

This is so cool. I love Necron 99.

I hadn't seen this movie until I heard the song "Bakshi to the Future" by Mississippi Bones. Got a kick ass song and a kick ass movie outta that deal.

Watched this and Coonskin back to back yesterday.
