One of the things that doesn't get mentioned about the attitude era and 2000 was that the card was more fluid. You had top guys mixing it with mid carders and lower guys and it made things feel more real and gave room for people to shine and surprise.

I talked about it not too long ago, WWE’s main event formula sucks and it will continue to for a very long time because they’re continuing to make money. Big match built on violence and war yet there’s yeet sessions, finisher spam and Brock’s deadass leaving the fucking ring mid-match, yet the match continued despite the rules. As I type this, a mystery man climbed into the ring and did a curb-stomp before climbing out. I’m not sure why I made the decision to watch this show tonight.
