Need some advice about my free masonry
11 Comments

Make sure you use 33 stones per wall and paint them alternating black and white for insulation. Hope this helps!

What I see in our walls in Spain that are build that way is that they fit like puzzle pieces, so they probably spend some time in finding the right fit before adding cement in between, some of our outer garden walls don't even have cement and have been standing for centuries

Have you ever listened to this?

Happy to help you on this. When I was younger, I was a laborer for a brick and stone mason. The first thing you want to do is lay all your stones out on the ground in the best pattern to have the smallest tightest joints possible. A regular brick mortar mix will do.

Research a "semi-dry stack" or "dry-stack with mortar backing." That should give you what you are looking for.

The thing about living like this … is 60 years from now when one of the kids is fixing this he will think … “Oh that’s why he did this. It’s smart”. That’s living like a King.

Looking good

@HaduckMike has a great channel on yt about all facets of masonry. I learned a lot watching him over the years

What makes it a "cobble stone"?

Dude, just get back on Adderall you are miserable.

That is going to look badass when completed.
