I think many people missed my point and started being suspicious and/or mean for literally no reason. I'm just sharing my knowledge and experience. I was only showing how I can retain a sharp elbow shape when arm is bent. Some people rig an extra bone to keep that sharp elbow. I'm showing that you don't necessarily need it. That's literally all I wanted to convey. Strategic topology + weightpaint can do so much if you're not making hyperrealism. It has its limits, but it's up to you how far you want to push the limits. I prefer simplicity for convenience as far as it allows me. I personally do anime and stylistic stuff, leaning towards aesthetic rigging solutions over hyperrealism in some cases. I like when things just look nice and smooth. If you only want to focus on the very extreme cases of bending limbs and fat/muscle movement, that's fine, but it was not the focus in previous video.

This morning I, Chesnyy the Professional Good Girl™ and head of the Safety Committee, went to the wheelchair accessible pier at a stocked pond at a local park. Unprecedented amounts of rain have made the water level unusually high. I went on the recon mission and determined that it's definitely too deep for a power wheelchair right now. I'm pretty sure my human knew this, but just in case, I made sure she saw how far up my legs the water went. She's been known to make some bad decisions without my input. After some discussion, I'm going to experiment with focusing on an almost 'heist-like' aspect to the game. When you first arrive the house is dark and the ghosts unbothered. As you make noise and create a disturbance the house slowly comes alive. (for example fuseboxes let you turn on the lights, but generate a burst of activity when flipped on) I think this might change the ghost hand dynamic. Maybe instead of an enemy that grabs you, and you break free from, they are instead a trap that when they grab you, the struggle is to not make noise while they're having their fun?

I'm seeing a lot of people saying it is just a bad upscaling instead of Gen AI, but it is indeed Gen AI animation. There are things going on in it that just don't make any sense for puppet animation. Here are some parts that make it clear, I slowed down the video so it's easier to notice the chunky parts. I checked the past ADs and it's possible to notice details (from an animator's POV) that are common and make sense for human work, so it was definitely a choice to use AI on this new AD
