One of my favourite moments (there are many) of Finding the Money is Eisenhower saying that debt was a problem in the late 1950s. When will our children start paying for all this debt? Or is it possible that they won't...

When they talk about abolishing or writing down private debt wake me up

They know otherwise. But if they say it people will lose faith in their business cards. They will sing this song for as long as the dollar is almighty. However they will dance to a different tune. Is that really bad?

I don't think most people would watch that & pick up on how the terrible things they predict never happen. People believe this is real.

Interesting that you included Cenk, he just gave you a shout out yesterday when he and Ana denounced MMT and the fact that the national debt DOES matter. I understand it doesn't.

Government deficit is not the issue as MMT has shown us. It’s just an accounting ledger. Trade imbalance is the issue. Warren Mosler has compared central banks to the person keeping points on a game. They come from nowhere. The question is do you want to be on the team scoring the points or on the team losing points. The answer is obvious.
