However, video footage appears to show Saudi Arabia’s Ali Khalid Mas (Lane 5) committing a clearer false start, raising serious questions over the decision. Manikanta, one of India’s most consistent sprinters and the holder of the country’s second-fastest all-time 100m time, was competing in his first-ever international 60m race.
