its nothing compared to this

@MoonriseBill What exactly is weird about it? Are you stupid by any chance?

@AshtonForbes well my iq test came back negative so no worries there

Negative mass would have repulsive gravity, so the 5kg might not even touch it

Ashton Forbes's profile picture
Ashton Forbes8 months ago

Technically correct. I discussed this on the live tonight.

Matt Ferrante's profile picture
Matt Ferrante8 months ago

Rad. Depends how large the negative mass is and how close to the center of that mass the other object can get

@AshtonForbes Wouldn’t the negative mass not simply increase the speed of an object but endlessly accelerate it?

Matt Ferrante's profile picture
Matt Ferrante8 months ago

@AshtonForbes Yes, until the distance is great enough that the force is negligible

Not that I needed it, but it does get the point across.

Best part is that nuke blast in the end comes from the original video.

It did make me giggle

I suppose there's a good point to be made about gravity... if there's negative mass then there's also negative gravity, so it'd be repulsive... but what if you could somehow get a negative mass that asymptotically approaches the mass of the object?

Ashton Forbes's profile picture
Ashton Forbes8 months ago

Infinite acceleration. This is the mathematical basis for warp drive. Turn it up to the max and you get a wormhole.

I was really hoping this was the answer. 😇

As someone who doesn't inherently understand the physics of negative mass, how can it be created? Is this why the orbs were able to do what they did to MH370?

Ashton Forbes's profile picture
Ashton Forbes8 months ago

Not how can it be created. "What is negative mass?" That's what we need to know. If spacetime isn't empty then what we see around us is 'sea level.' You could argue anything below the 'sea level' is 'negative energy.' So push the zero point energy aside, and you've created a bubble of 'negative energy' just like a bubble of air in water.

When I saw 5 approaching -5, I thought to myself, "the speed will go to infinity, or they'll cease to exist." And now I'm thinking, "what if infinite velocity and non-existence are the same?"

Now switch mass for energy density via laser, Photon momentum transfer Woodward/mahood/forward/talley Use the conservation of laser propulsion & radiation pressure Myrabo/Mead/forward Use DEAS to make opposite charge to pull while feeding mhd Myrabo Spin it up🌪️ Gangsters bro

@One_of_the_Five It's fun to go back through my archive of old clips and videos and find stuff like this. I knew so much less when I first posted this than I do now.

What if the mass is less than the negative mass?

“Negative mass”

I like to think of the higgs field like a plane with two sides. Positive mass rests on top and negative is pushed up against it. So inertia increases or decreases respectively with "mass". And massless particles rock back and forth from one to the other side real fast.

What if the negative mass is larger? Does it begin moving in the opposite direction, with the speed decreasing as the negative mass gets further from the magnitude of the original mass?

Lose weight, go faster. Got it.

Isn't this why the only thing hypothesized with negative mass are tachyons, which cannot move slower than light? Also why wouldn't equal positive and negative masses move at exactly light speed? If you can do this, you can build a sort of negative mass FTL blimp.

Would it do the same if the negative number was bigger than the positive?

I just watched 2 videos about you on YouTube by some science guy, and they were 2 of the funniest videos I have ever seen lmao. Watching you get scammed live on stream was amazing.

That's not perfect, as the negative mass would be attracted to the positive mass. Negative mass is gravity. #ProtonGravity

Essentially why you can't ever cross the streams with a proton pack or hit a Dune shield with a Lasgun. Same principle.

It didn't eat the big block? Honestly disappointed

Isra's profile picture

The gravitational force of attraction in this case would be repulsive. The illustration is very nice, but over time the large block would be repelled if it has enough speed to get close, because, as I said, the system would be repulsive. It would be like in electrostatics.
