This is one of the worst bills for working families our country has ever seen. President Trump’s plan would slash Medicaid and SNAP, jeopardizing health care access for 196,000 Marylanders and threatening food assistance for more than 684,000 Marylanders. It would make energy bills more expensive, raise health care costs, and directly hurt Maryland families, from the western mountains to the Eastern Shore and everywhere in between. No state in the country could overcome the consequences if it were to become law.
