God, how I miss this guy and this band.

You know what everybody gets into their own little groove of music. It's like a toll highway. There is limited exits and entrances. The one that I think I really missed was John Prine. I've been listening to some of his music and I'm just wow.

Fans of Buddy Rich might disagree …

I have absolutely no complaints about Buddy Rich. I used to watch him on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. At the time I saw Buddy he was the only drummer that I knew of that could do that.

@TheFaxMatter I've seen this at least a dozen times. So good. Incredible.

One day I was reading the liner notes for this album - Moving Pictures and it said “special thanks to Saint Paul, Minnesota” it made me feel so good to see the Rush guys say that about the city I was born in! Over the years I saw Rush many times in Saint Paul, Minnesota and they were always *the very best* of my concert going history! We miss you Mr. Peart…you always gave us your very best! 🤠 👍

Incredible

Buddy Rich would like a word.

Buddy Rich used to appear on the tonight show with Johnny Carson quite regularly. I remember seeing him play long before the modern day drummer artists.

This appears to be from around Neil's Burning for Buddy period. Buddy Rich was clearly a huge influence...and rightly so!

Someone mentioned the exact same thing. In an interview he told someone that his inspiration was Buddy Rich. I remember seeing buddy on The Tonight Show.
