The video shows officers following him, kicking open his door, and detaining him. Shortly after, the officers put Brooks in handcuffs. He said he then told officers his name, and that is when they realized they had the wrong person. “What took place was, you were mistaken for someone else. We got a call that said the person that we were looking for was at this house, and when they pulled up, you looked just like that person,” another officer said.
