It’s easy to dogpile on founders in crypto when things are going south but holy fuck does it take some serious resilience to deal with VCs, administrative stuff, community, partners, regulators, conferences, society at large, all while trying to balance your personal obligations and responsibilities. A lot of people who have very strong opinions and critiques of these founders have never really experienced that level of struggle and scrutiny, they’ve never built anything. They’re salaried employees who get paid monthly for traveling the world and taking a few calls. They’ve never experienced the other side and don’t understand the burdens and hardships it brings. If you did, you would have a sliver of empathy and admiration for the resilience it takes to deal with everything and still continue to show up and actively contribute, participate, and engage.

Thank you so much to Henk for making these beautiful, custom, 'Mother of Chains' nails for me. a few things that make this really special to me - I met Henk at g(t)m con, and since then I've seen her raise her voice. I just love seeing more talented ppl share themselves here. It takes a lot of bravery to put yourself out there - Henk is just super classy and talented and we need more ppl like her in crypto - I'm catholic and these feel so Vatican coded. Henk didn't know that about me.
