I like it. it solves the structural waste of lighting fixture by combining structure and filament. it allows light to be spread over a larger area, not quite diffusion, but less irritating than a singular light point.

That is EL Wire. LED Filaments, like in bulbs, tend to be stiff and brittle.

Woven lighting. I mean the concept is basically the same as any other designable lighting element. There's a lot more you could do with it if you were creative, like a dragon sculpture... This is pretty similar to the old custom blown neon lights.
