We can't stop climate change. So why are we making ourselves poorer trying? If we want flood defences, resilient infrastructure, and the ability to adapt to a changing climate, we need a prosperous economy first. Instead, we're pursuing policies like Net Zero that make us poorer, while the planet continues to warm because the world's biggest emitters have no intention of following our example.

Net Zero has become a religion and anyone who dares question it is deemed a heretic. But we have to be honest - it’s making us all poorer and it’s making climate change worse. Great to join Nick Robinson for Political Thinking this week - full episode below👇🏾

“All he's doing is making British people poorer, making their energy less secure, and at the same time making the climate situation that he claims to care about worse. This is completely irrational,” Kathryn Porter tells The Daily Sceptic on Miliband’s Net Zero policies.

Superb! Nigel Farage tears Net Zero to shreds. "Insane. Unachievable. Can't be done." 'Our energy costs will go up. We'll be poorer. Net Zero will be a catastrophe.' 'Let's stop making people poorer.' Spot on! 🔥 #bbcqt

Canada believes that if we get to net zero climate change will END. The problem is climate change has occurred in the planet for Billions of Years. Canada at 1.5% of total global emissions could get to net zero tomorrow and it would do nothing.

Net zero policies are making everyone poorer. We must renew Britain’s nuclear energy and scrap net zero to bring down energy bills.

In Parliament, Labor pretends that Australia reaching net zero will lower sea levels and stop natural disasters. However, in the Federal Court a group of Torres Strait Islanders tried suing this government for climate change, and the Labor government told the court that Australia has NO influence on the climate! Either Australia reaching net zero will stop natural disasters or net zero won’t change anything and net zero is a SCAM.

Smith is all in on CO2 causing climate change and ready to hit net zero faster. I’m done voting forever.

'Sadiq Khan has lost the argument and lost the plot… It’s nothing to do with stopping smog or asthma. It’s about forcing us out of cars for good and making us poorer, while doing absolutely nothing to tackle any genuine environmental concern.' Dan Wootton

Local leadership makes all the difference in tackling climate change. By investing in cost-saving solar, Mayor Caissie from Shediac is making sure their township can get to net-zero emissions.

California is one of the largest consumers of oil and gas in the country. The noise about climate change is political posturing. They’re doing nothing about climate change, but they are making energy more expensive in California!

Britain produces less than 1% of global greenhouse-gas emissions. Whatever your view on climate change, impoverishing British households while pretending our domestic sacrifices can control the global climate is absurd. Net Zero is not the answer
