#WATCH | US Vice President Kamala Harris says, "Today, Iran launched approximately 200 ballistic missiles at Israel in a reckless embrace an attack. I condemn this attack unequivocally. Iran is a destabilizing, dangerous force in the Middle East, and today's attack on Israel only further demonstrates that fact. Earlier today, I was in the Situation Room with President Biden and our national security team as we monitored the attack in real-time and ensured that the protection of US personnel in the region is paramount. I fully support President Biden's order for the US military to shoot down Iranian missiles targeting Israel, just as we did in April. The initial indications are that Israel, with our assistance, was able to defeat this attack. Our joint defences have been effective, and this operation and successful cooperation saved many innocent lives. I will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself against Iran and Iran-backed terrorist militias. My commitment to the security of Israel is unwavering. Iran is not only a threat to Israel but also to American personnel in the region, American interests and innocent civilians across the region who suffer at the hands of Iran..., we will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to defend US forces and interests against Iran and Iran backed terrorists. We will continue to work with our allies to disrupt Iran's aggressive behaviour and hold them accountable." (Source: Reuters)

The IDF has Launched a Preemptive Strike Against Iran's Nuclear Program, Israeli military spokesperson Effie Defrin: For years, the Iranian regime has been waging a direct and indirect campaign of terror against the State of Israel, by funding and directing terrorist activities via its proxies across the Middle East, while advancing toward obtaining a nuclear weapon. The Iranian regime is at the head of the axis responsible for all terrorist attacks against the State of Israel since the beginning of the "Swords of Iron" War, including by arming and funding the Hamas terror organization which was responsible for the October 7th Massacre. During the "Swords of Iron" War, Iran even directly attacked Israel twice, firing hundreds of missiles toward the State of Israel. The Iranian regime has proclaimed that its objective is to destroy the State of Israel. Senior officials in the Iranian regime have publicly declared their intent to destroy Israel, and are operating to achieve this together with their proxies in the Middle East. Today, Iran is closer than ever to obtaining a nuclear weapon. Weapons of mass destruction in the hands of the Iranian regime are an existential threat to the State of Israel and a significant threat to the wider world. The State of Israel will not allow a regime whose objective is to destroy the State of Israel to obtain weapons of mass destruction. The IDF has conducted a process of preparations for a campaign on the frontline and on the home front. The resilience of Israel's citizens will be an important factor of the campaign. The IDF is ready to continue to act as required. The State of Israel has the obligation to act in defense of its citizens and will continue to do so everywhere it is required to do so, as we have done in the past.

I want to thank President Donald J. Trump Donald J. Trump for his unwavering support for Israel. During my recent visit to Washington, I said that Donald Trump is the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House. And President Trump shows that friendship each and every day. He has shown it through his visionary plan for Gaza, this is a plan which Israel fully supports. He's shown it by sending us all the munitions that were being held up. This way he is giving Israel the tools we need to finish the job against Iran’s terror axis. And he has shown it by fully backing Israel and putting the pressure to release the hostages where it truly belongs – on Hamas. Israel has accepted President Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff's plan to extend the temporary ceasefire by 50 days, during that time we can discuss the conditions for a permanent ceasefire that will end the war in Gaza. In Witkoff’s plan, half of the hostages would be released right away and the remaining half would be released if we reach an agreement on a permanent ceasefire. Again, Israel has accepted this plan. I accepted this plan. But so far, Hamas has rejected it. Hamas had also put forward positions for a permanent ceasefire that are totally unacceptable. Israel has decided to stop letting goods and supplies into Gaza, something we've done for the past 42 days. We've done that because Hamas steals the supplies and prevents the people of Gaza from getting them. It uses these supplies to finance its terror machine, which is aimed directly at Israel and our civilians – and this we cannot accept. We will take further steps if Hamas continues to hold our hostages. And throughout this, Israel knows that America and President Trump have our back. Thank you again, President Trump! Thank you for all you are doing to return our hostages, bolster our security and provide a future of prosperity and peace for all the peoples of the Middle East.

I am currently working to issue an official invitation from Israel and to host Sheikh Sheik Murshide Kheznewî in Israel. After watching a powerful and courageous interview he gave to the Kurdish TV channel Rûdaw, it is clear that this is a rare and bold voice of a Kurdish religious and social leader calling on the world to listen. These are his words, as stated in the interview: If you allow me, I want my voice to be heard. I want to call for help from Israel. Until when are we going to be killed by Muslims. Until when are we going to be sacrificed for Gaza and the Palestinians. If my country or land is destroyed, I curse the land of those who are against me. If my mother, our Kurdish mothers, cannot live, may the mothers of those who are against us not live either. If my country is not free, may the land of those who are against us not be free as well. For these reasons, we Kurds must be awake and aware. We need to strengthen our relations with Israel. We need an alliance with Israel. I, Sheik Murshide Kheznewî, promise that if Israel comes to the aid and helps free my people in Rojava, I will be Israel’s eternal servant. These words, coming from a senior Muslim cleric, reflect deep frustration with the regional reality and clearly identify Israel as a moral and strategic partner for the Kurdish people. The purpose of this invitation is to enable open, honest, and courageous dialogue religious, humanitarian, and diplomatic and to explore paths of cooperation that may benefit both peoples and contribute to regional stability. Always follow me. Sincerely, Yehuda Ben Yosef President of the Kurdish Community in Israel Follow me: 📘 Facebook: 📸 Instagram: ✖️ X (Twitter):

WATCH: CNN’s Scott Jennings sounds off on the scene in Hostage Square chanting President Trump’s name, the pride today of being an American, and his interview on the radio show earlier with Yael Bar tur 🤞... “I mean, as an American, my heart couldn't be more full. I mean, The United States of America today in its President, Donald Trump, is at the forefront of the most important thing going on in this world the release of these hostages and the possibility of a standing peace in the Middle East, where there simply just hasn't been any. And so, as an American, the fact that we're leading this effort, that we’re leading this coalition, that the President leading this effort, that we're leading this coalition, that the President was able to bring the Arab states together to get Netanyahu and that relationship, they have, in line enough to pull this off, I mean, it makes my heart so full that this is the power of the United States of America.” “This is what makes us the most unique country in the most important superpower in the world. I've had a range of emotions today because, as you know, I care deeply about these hostages. I could watch those videos all day and I have been watching them all day. I am still very sad for the 24 families for whom this is not over. Hamas has not produced the remains yet of, I think 24 people that were hoping come out soon, but I interviewed a lady on my radio show today, Yael Bar tur, who was in Hostage Square, and she was a counselor to some of the hostage families. She was at that rally, and she told me today, the unbelievable support for Donald Trump and for the American people, you could feel it in the air. It was palpable. The appreciation that those Israelis have for Trump and for the United. States of America. And if that doesn't make you feel patriotic about your own country, then I don't know what to say. It makes me feel great as an American that we are leading an effort for peace and hopefully prosperity in a region that has struggled with it.”
