As they left the area, the settlers chased their vehicles back towards the town, forcing them to flee. A journalist at the scene said the shattered windshield demonstrated the extreme danger Palestinians face when trying to access land that has been occupied by Israeli settlers since last April, warning the consequences could have been even more deadly had Palestinians attempted to return to their own land.
