In just over 4 years, 9 Americans have been killed in the West Bank with 0 accountability. It’s past time we get answers about their deaths & the constant injustices Palestinians face from the Israeli occupation of the West Bank. I'm introducing a resolution requiring the State Dept to begin to answer these questions & I'll be bringing it to a vote when Congress returns.

“Most Americans have no idea that American citizens have been murdered during the course of them.” Tucker Carlson has shared a video of what he described as Israeli terrorism, portraying the reality on the ground in the West Bank, where US citizens have been killed during settler violence. In his segment, Carlson highlights CNN footage from the case of 20-year-old American citizen Sayfollah “Saif” Musallet, who was beaten to death by Israeli settlers in a field. Carlson states that some of the settlers involved are American citizens and that American weapons are being used in these attacks. He stressed that American citizens are among those killed, while stating that most Americans have little awareness of this reality. “They have no idea because the media by and large don't report it, and American officials have no interest in talking about it.” Carlson also points out the disparity he says exists between settlers and Palestinians, stating that Israeli settlers can carry weapons while Palestinians are prohibited from carrying weapons on their own land.

Israeli settlers attacked a CNN news crew, journalists and activists during a visit to Sinjil in the occupied West Bank, smashing a vehicle's windshield, hurling stones at the convoy and attempting to slash a tyre. The group had travelled with Kamel Musallet to the site where his son, Saif Musallet, was killed by Israeli settlers one year ago. As they left the area, the settlers chased their vehicles back towards the town, forcing them to flee. A journalist at the scene said the shattered windshield demonstrated the extreme danger Palestinians face when trying to access land that has been occupied by Israeli settlers since last April, warning the consequences could have been even more deadly had Palestinians attempted to return to their own land.
