Fun fact, Netflix is (proudly) already training AI systems on every single piece of content they have and creating an annotated, searchable cataloguing of every single shot.

how is trying to automate the creative elements of editing “letting creatives focus on the more creative aspects of their job” lol this is also extremely dumb when you actually consider the workflow for planning and shooting a film. maybe it’s ok for making lazy trailers?

I'm all for giving editors more tools, but when Netflix proudly says something like "match cut is the holy grail of editing", I lose all confidence in their intentions. Context and emotion-based editing be damned apparently
