The Cooper's Hill Cheese-Rolling and Wake is an annual event held on the Spring Bank Holiday at Cooper's Hill, near Gloucester in England. Participants race down the 200-yard long hill chasing a wheel of Double Gloucester cheese.

This year, Formula E is using fast charging technology during pit stops at 600KW charging speed. It’s capable of charging 10% in just 30 seconds (39KW capacity). In previous years, the driver would swap cars and carry on with the race.

Back in the 1980s, the Dutch had this crazy idea to hold wheel-to-wheel racing events where the drivers could only race with their cars going backwards. This meant racers would have to rely on mirrors and over-the-shoulder angles to see where they're going, and steering was done exclusively with the "back" of the car. The results, as you can see from this race at Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands, were unsurprising. Thanks to the inherent instability and limited vision, crashes happened left and right, even at extremely low speeds. Reversing out of your garage every morning might be simple, but setting a lap time? Not so much.
