Neurosurgeon memory technique that works instantly‼️

So do people with one eye remember stuff better than people with two eyes?👀

😂 No credible neurosurgeon has ever said this. This man, Kyle Cox, is NOT a neurosurgeon. He’s a basic content creator. Why post blatant lies just for clicks? It’s shocking how many big accounts post perpetual false information, and what’s worse, the amount of people who actually believe it—without ever checking for truthful accuracy. It’s no wonder why we live in a zero-trust society.

This is not how the human visual system works. The human retina is wired so that the left *half* of each eye's visual field, projected into the retina, is connected to the brain's right hemisphere visual cortex. And the right *half* goes into the left visual cortez. The OP describes how (most) non-primates are wired. But in humans and monkeys, it works as I have described, and this trick does not work. It does, however, work for hearing, which is why most people, especially right-handed males, find it easier to understand speech in their right ears - their speech loci are located in the left hemisphere, which connects primarily to the right ear.

Rrrrrrh that must be why I be a super genius!

I used this information to store this information. Either it works and I will remember it, or it won’t and I’ll forget it forever.

That's why pirates were so smart ..

@jondpratt I’ve heard of double blind study and now we have a single blind study.

I forgot - which eye again?

everyone halfway through the video

@grok are any of these claims verifiable?

Closed my right eye after watching this. We'll see if it helps me remember to do it.

If this is true, why wouldn’t you just keep the right eye close during studying? Then all would be focused to the left brain from the start

Click bait. No medical evidence. Asked my neuro surgeon friend a few minutes ago.

Right eye closed…1…2…3…4…5…got it! A bunch of people are going to be running into walls for the next hour trying to remember what you just said.

“Surgeons memorise drug dosages”. That tells you all you need to know about the effectiveness of this alleged method …

This, combined with sniffing rosemary, I might never forget another thing

I closed my right eye after seeing his explanation, counted to five and...forgot everything.

Both eyes individually send input to both right and left brain because of the optic chasm where these fibers cross. So closing one eye still keeps both right and left eye activated.

What if you only have ONE EYE? (Hope it’s the right one!) If it IS the right one, basically a SUPER POWER!!!

Sounds good if you have vision in your left eye.

What about a physiological left handed person who is "right brained" to begin with? Close the left eye?

@Grok is this real? Can you further explain it?

@RealThe33084

Dude you made the internet look very stupid at Starbucks

What?

So we should look for students who are blind in the right eye as a criteria for elite neurosurgeons? 🤣 @grok fact check

I am not really able to close the right eye totally….the left eye would be no problem…Do I have a Problem 😬

@tay_squared__

@jondpratt What’s the placebo affect of anticipation and/or disappointment or expectation of result?

May work on a practical basis, but the underlying physiology is dead wrong. Each eye distributes half the information to each side of the brain to the occipital cortex so you’re actually distributing equally to both hemispheres…

What if you’re left handed?
